Your responsibilities will include contract management, ensuring compliance and providing expert guidance on contractual obligations. You’ll also assess and manage commercial risk, handle compensation claims and develop strategic approaches to optimise financial outcomes for the business.This is a fast-paced, target-driven role where you’ll work independently and collaboratively to ensure business success. Manage compensation claims under the PFI agreement to maximise financial outcomesDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory complianceIdentify and manage commercial risks, minimising potential issues for the businessAdvise stakeholders on contract obligations and ensure compliance with corrective actionsOversee contract management, including audits, reporting, document handling, and client meetingsDevelop exit plans for the PFI agreement to reduce financial and commercial risksSupport the Senior Commercial Contract and Legal Manager when neededWhat You’ll Bring:

Law degree (or equivalent) with extensive commercial contract experienceProven commercial management expertise and strong contract administration knowledgeExcellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting and presenting data and developing strategiesPFI contract management experience, including regulatory and legal obligationsIn-depth understanding of contract law and its practical applicationExtra Information:

Due to the nature of sites on which we operate, the successful candidate must:Meet the security clearance requirements for the role which includes, but is not limited to, being a full-time resident of the UK for the past 5 yearsAbility to obtain Security Clearance which involves a Criminal Record Check and a full MoD Security Application and associated verification processesMust have own transportation to enable travelvarious client sites, many of which are not accessible by public transport routesAncala Water Services reserves the right to close the vacancy earlier than advertised.
