Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

• Taking the lead on installation, modification, and minor commissioning of fire alarm systems
• Supporting and mentoring other engineers on site, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard
• Completing system upgrades, device additions, panel swaps, and all associated cabling work to meet project specifications
• Maintaining and managing stock levels, tools, and equipment to ensure you and your team have everything needed for each job

Can you show experience in some of these areas?

• Proven experience installing and modifying fire alarm systems, with a solid understanding of the technical requirements involved
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm system brands such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Morley, Apollo, and Hochiki
• Familiarity with British Standards (BS5839-1) and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system designs
• Excellent communication skills, both for liaising with clients and working closely with project and service teams on site
