About this Role:An experienced Senior Site Manager or ambitious Site Manager looking to progress, is required to work with the project team on a 100m+ new build higher education scheme in Southampton, Hampshire.This large new build faculty building is currently in enabling works phase with piling due to start imminently, commencing a 2 year construction programme of works into summer 2027.This role is specifically to focus on the groundworks and structural packages. The frame is a mix of reinforced concrete, post-tensioned slabs, precast and steel.You will be the Temporary Works Coordinator for this project as a key part of you role.Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and working with the Package Manager, you will be responsible for managing all site based construction activities including: Coordination of trade sub-contractors across multiple work-faces; Mid and short-term programming of works; Input to design coordination with consultant design team to resolve technical queries; Ensuring high company health and safety standards are planned, communicated, and enforced; Review of method statements and risk assessments (RAMS); Review, coordination and inspection of temporary work; Liaison with structural engineer.
