What you will be doingAs a Brokerage and Placements Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:Identifying and arranging person-centred, cost-effective, high-quality care and support for adults with health and social care needs (residential, nursing, supported living, extra care, home care, day services)Building and maintaining a strong working knowledge of the care supplier market, procurement tools, and relevant policiesSourcing services in line with the Council''s procurement arrangements, negotiating with providers to secure the best possible care packagesManaging urgent or same-day placement needs, working in a fast-paced environment to prioritise and deliver under pressureCollaborating with social workers, ICB colleagues, and other professionals to ensure the right sup
