Job summary

A qualified CCAB accountant, the post holder must have good interpersonal skills and be able to liaise effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation as well as staff in other NHS and non-NHS organisations. This role involves a significant amount of autonomous working and initiative and the Post Holder will be able to work to strict deadlines and be capable of working under pressure within defined standards and policies.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Deputy Commercial Finance Manager or SDCFM will provide highly developed specialist financial management services to the Medicine and Genetics Division.

Additionally, they will cover for the Commercial Financial Manager [Medicine] providing Financial Management support and advice to Clinical and Operational budget holders, Chief Officers and other relevant officers within the Trust.
