Pupil Welfare Officer Location: London W6 9LR Salary: £50,000 (FEO) Actual salary £41,000 per annum Required for: January / February 2026 We are a school that values diversity and individual contribution, supporting and encouraging staff to pursue their interests and achieve their ambitions. This is a fixed-term position to cover the maternity leave of our current Pupil Welfare Officer. You will work with staff and parents/carers to support students who present with safeguarding concerns, issues related to mental health and well-being. You will manage cases on a day-to-day basis, refer students to and liaise with external agencies as appropriate in order to access external support, write confidential reports and support plans and attend case meetings in a professional capacity as required. You will also provide professional support and advice to the pastoral team and contribute to the development of a strategic approach to the management of safeguarding, mental health and well-being provision across the school. Contract: Full time (Maternity Cover), fixed term, term time plus INSET days + 1 week 37.5 hours a week for 36 weeks a year. You will be expected to work on-site during term time.
