We''re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Transportation team, based at either Picketts Lock or Wraysbury. In this role, you''ll be responsible for managing commercial resources effectively, maximising planned gross margins through the procurement, placement, and control of contracts and subcontractors. Location: Picketts Lock and/or Wraysbury depots (limited remote working will be considered to suit individual cases) Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits What will you be responsible for? As a Quantity Surveyor, you''ll work closely with the Contract Commercial Manager and the wider commercial team to ensure all commercial activities are effectively managed and completed. You''ll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records across both client IT systems and internal Kier platforms, supporting the successful commercial delivery of the contract. Your day to day will include: Using contract SOR''s to price Task Orders raised by the Client within Contractual timescales Ensuring the Subcontractors have Task Orders in place to facilitate works delivery
