Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant Synoptix are seeking an Accounts Assistant for a 15 month Fixed Term Contract.The Role:Reporting to the Financial Director you will be responsible for the effective and accurate processing of Client and supplier invoices on the companies systems (Xero and WorkFlow Max). Duties will include but are not limited to the following. Manage and control sales ledgerManage and control purchase ledgerRaise Customer invoices in a timely mannerProcess payments for all supplier invoices and staff expensesLiaise with Customers, internal departments, and external suppliers to help resolve any issuesReconcile bank transactionsAssist with other relevant duties Skills / Experience Required: Xero accounts package or similar online software experience is preferable, training on Xero will be givenExperience operating within an accounts departmentStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills Working Arrangements: Full time (will consider 30-37.5 hrs per week)Hybrid, flexible working hours Benefits: Annual Company Bonus25 Days holiday not including bank holidays with the option to buy/sell up to 5 daysAccess to online Udemy training facilityCompetitive pension contributionBike to work schemeElectric car schemePrivate health careJob well done scheme Security Requirements: Please note that due to the nature of our projects we can only accept UK national candidates who will need to be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
