Support Staff Vacancies - Pupil Referral Unit (Tameside) Location: TamesideContract: Full-time / Term-timeStart Date: ASAPOur Tameside Pupil Referral Unit is expanding its team and seeking skilled, dedicated Support Staff to help us provide a safe, nurturing and structured environment for pupils who require alternative provision.We support children and young people who may have experienced challenges in mainstream settings and need a personalised, supportive approach to learning and behaviour.About the RoleAs part of our team, you will:Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.Build positive, trusting relationships to help pupils engage in learning.Assist with classroom activities, small-group interventions and bespoke timetables.Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a calm, supportive environment.Contribute to behaviour support, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies.Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and positive routines.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you:Have experience supporting young people with SEMH or complex needs (PRU/AP experience beneficial but not essential).Are calm, resilient and able to respond to challenging behaviour professionally.Can build rapport quickly and work with empathy and consistency.Are a strong communicator and a reliable team player.Are passionate about helping young people re-engage with education and achieve their potential.What We OfferA supportive, experienced team commit
