This role, situated in Portsmouth, involves manual work with a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient production of fuel tanks on a contractual basis.There is possibility of contract converting to perm.Key Responsibilities:Operate in compliance with health and safety guidelinesMaintain clean and tidy work areasFollow and understand technical drawings, SOPs, and process specificationsCheck, mark-up and lift nylon on linersOperating an RF welderUse different adhesives and lacquer to bond fittings and KevlarPrepare and fit tanks into Media/ICYStrip and rebuild jiffys and formersLacquer and stencil tanksRecord production data and information as requiredJob Requirements:Attention to detailUnderstanding of technical documentsReliability and punctualityAbility to work well within a teamGood dexterityDesirable Experience and Skills:Prior experience in a manufacturing or similar environmentCommitment to quality and strong attention to detailPhysical capability to handle manual tasks and operate machineryWillingness and desire to learn new skillsEffective communication skills
