Unitrust Protection Services (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Officer to join our team. The role involves being trained on a number of sites across our London portfolio but primarily based on one site based on shift availability. You will be based in Holborn and be responsible for the security of people, premises and property, protecting the client/tenants’ reputation. Excellence in customer service will be at the heart of the role as you support the delivery of a truly exceptional customer journey for both staff and visitors.Base pay range

Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. This is a fundamental aspect of the roleTake an active interest in, and commit to the client and tenantsBe highly presentable, accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocatedBe familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site and assist in their safe execution and practiceReview and follow all Assignment Instructions / Operations Manual or Standard Operating ProceduresComplete rostered duties and all associated tasks to the highest possible standardEnsure Health and Safety and Environmental procedures are followed and do not undertake any activity which could breach the SIA or other regulationsComplete any other reasonable task as instructed by line manager or Senior ManagerAct with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant and ethical mannerBe prepared to manage a wide variety of scenarios, people and challengesWork in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and our Code of ConductSecurity Specific Responsibilities

Welcome and assist staff, clients, tenants and visitors in a warm and courteous fashion maintaining excellence throughout the customer journeyEnsure no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areasCheck identity and credentials of staff, contractors and visitors where requiredWork with colleagues to ensure the integrity of security on the siteIdentify and mitigate threats to persons, premises or property, escalating as appropriateKnow the premises (inside and external) and assist staff, clients, tenants and visitors with their queriesRespond to alarmsRecord details of suspected criminal activity and commence investigative procedures as neededDevelop and maintain positive relationships with all staff, visitors, tenants, service providers and clientsBuild and maintain building patrols, checking for good housekeeping, faults or health and safety issuesExcellent communication skills
