Castle Employment are seeking a reliable and responsible HGV Class C1 Delivery Driver to join our client in the Driffield area. As a Delivery Driver, you will conduct deliveries efficiently and safely following assigned routes. Excellent oral communication and time management skills are essential, along with exceptional customer service skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday with NO weekends working from 5am until approximately 3/4pm, overtime is paid after 40 hours. Duties:Safely and efficiently transport goods and products to designated locationsLoad and unload delivery vehiclesFollow delivery schedules and routes providedInspect and maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in good working conditionCollect payments from customers, if requiredCommunicate with customers in a professional and friendly mannerAdhere to all traffic laws and regulations while drivingQualifications:Valid driver''s licensePrevious experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferredUp to date driver CPCDigital Tachograph cardStrong understanding of driver transport legislationStrong physical stamina for heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods up to 25kgExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with local roads and routes is a plusReach truck / Counterbalance certificate would be beneficialWe look forward to hearing from you!
