Position: Stores Operative / Materials Handler Location: Bishops Stortford Salary: 27,500 - Depending on experience Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week - 08:00am - 16:00pm, Monday to FridayProactive are currently in search of an experienced Stores Operative / Materials Handler to start work immediately for a client of ours in Bishops Stortford. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team within the Stores and Dispatch area, managing aspects of the material flow requirements from point of arrival, movement throughout production processes, to final outgoing transactions.Duties will include but not be limited to:Picking, packing and processing scheduled and urgent daily orders for global service engineers and spare part requirements, working with logistics to ensure on time delivery metrics.Acceptance of incoming stock deliveries, checking quantities, specification, condition and documentation in line with Quality Procedures.Unpacking, Distribution and Replenishment of incoming materials to designated locations across factory floor, Quality Inspection and inventory storage units.Managing traceability documents and dispatch of outgoing Returns and Non-Conforming items to suppliers.Processing work orders, shipping documentation, and courier collections for daily orders, and large capital equipment orders for container freight collections.Inventory Management including stock rotation, ad-hoc replenishment requirements to assembly lines, dealing with daily enquirie
