Cut and Crease Operator - Double Days

Location: Elland

Hours:

(Week1) Monday to Thursday 5:00 to 13:30 (8.5) / Friday 5:00 to 9:30 (4.5) 1 x 20 min paid break
(Week 2) Monday to Thursday 13:30 to 21:30 (8) / Friday 9:30 to 16:00 (6.5) 1 x 20 min paid break

Salary: Dependent On Experience

About my Client:

My client are a leading supplier of the highest quality printed cartons, currently seeking a Cut and Crease Assistant/ Trainee. Supporting the Cut and Crease Minders with any cut and crease related activities as required.

The Role:

• Setting and running Bobst or similar machinery.

• Finishing carton production to the highest standards.

• Producing and reviewing products against the prescribed quality standards/specification supplied.

• Maintenance and general housekeeping of the equipment.

• Ensuring all jobs are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• You should possess the following skills, qualifications and/or experience:

• Cut and crease experience ideally with embossing and de-bossing.

• Preferably have experience of using a Bobst machine

• The ability to work well in a team of production operatives.

• Be used to dealing with high end added value packaging.

• Have a conscientious and enthusiastic manner with a can-do approach.

• The ideal candidate will possess general computer skills.

• Be able to work on various shift rotations.
