Title: Laboratory TechnicianSalary: 13.26 per hourContract: 6 monthsStart: ASAPWorking hours: 7am-3pmLocation: Loughborough/ Nottingham area Exciting Opportunity - Lab Technician needed at a leading manufacturing CompanyAs the Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine sampling and testing. This will involve liaising with the Performance Teams to support investigations and improvement projects. You will also be responsible for maintaining the laboratory function on a day-to-day basis, ensuring laboratory safety standards are upheld. Key Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:- Contribute to site safety- Material testing: IC, tensile testing and tests using balances and weighing- Perform FPC testing to ensure products meet quality standards as per the control plans- Respond to quality monitoring data and raise any non-conformances- Manage testing equipment calibration and maintenance To be successful in this role, you will need:- Minimum A Level or degree in chemistry, forensic or similar- Recent experience in a laboratory, either university or in industry- Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships and effectively share information- Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel If you are an analytical, safety-conscious, and collaborative Lab Technician, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
