Senior Consultant - Building Pathology Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting for an experienced Consultant for our Civil Engineering client. Location: BuckinghamshireSalary: 41,000 - 50,000 + car/car allowance Hours: Mon-Fri 37 hours a weekAre you a consultant with experience in building investigations and an interest in leading projects? Do you enjoy balancing technical quality, safety, and commercial success while supporting others?Duties Lead and deliver building pathology projects, including:Condition surveys (intrusive and non-destructive)Concrete assessments (composition, deterioration, corrosion)Water ingress investigations and remediation planningNon-destructive testing (GPR, ultrasonic pulse echo, etc.)Building investigations for re purposing and design inputCoordinating laboratory testing and interpreting resultsProduce and review clear, high-quality technical reportsManage projects to meet safety, quality, and budget goalsBuild strong client relationships and deliver practical solutionsPlan resources, allocate tasks, and monitor performanceSupport and mentor team membersEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsContribute to risk management and cost controlPromote continuous improvement across projects Requirements: Professional membership of a relevant institution (advantageous but not essential)Experience in building investigations, surveying, or engineeringSome exposure to project management and deliveryCommercial awareness and
