Business Development Representative (BDR)

We’re supporting a growing UK technology business as they continue to expand their commercial team following continued success across multiple industry sectors. Helping organisations proactively manage workplace risk through smart, user-friendly digital solutions.

Their platform supports businesses across construction, manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure, and facilities management by improving reporting, increasing workforce engagement, reducing admin, and helping teams build stronger safety cultures.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career to join a scaling technology company, develop commercial skills, and progress within a supportive and ambitious environment.

The role

You’ll be responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities with organisations looking to improve workplace safety, compliance, operational visibility, and workforce engagement.

Day to day, this includes:

  • Identifying businesses with Health & Safety, compliance, or operational risk requirements
  • Contacting decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Booking meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team
  • Researching target businesses and qualifying opportunities
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Supporting wider business development and lead generation activity
  • The role offers exposure to consultative technology sales, stakeholder engagement, and long-term account development within a growing and increasingly important sector.

  • Around 12 months’ experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
  • Comfortable with outbound activity and speaking with new people

  • Ambition to develop a long-term career in sales
