Electrical Service Engineer - Stockport

Starting Salary: -42,000 P/A
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:15, Friday 07:00 - 14:30

The Role: Electrical Service Engineer
Working Monday to Friday days, the successful candidate will travel to customer sites regionally carrying out installation, servicing, upgrading and maintenance on CNC machine tools and conventional machinery.

Machinery: CNC Machinery / Machine Tools

Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical fault finding and repair on various machine tools including milling machines, CNC lathes and drilling machines
• Perform installation, servicing, upgrading and retrofitting of CNC and conventional machine tools at customer sites
• Travel regionally to customer locations with occasional longer trips-
• Complete maintenance and repair work to manufacturers'' specifications
• Provide technical support and advice to customers on machinery operation

Entry Requirements:

• City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship
• 5+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer or Service Engineer
• Proven electrical fault finding experience on industrial machinery
• Experience working on CNC machine tools and conventional machinery ideally
• Willingness to travel regionally with occasional overnight stays
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service
