The successful applicant will be based at our production facility in Birmingham city centre.The Role As part of a larger strategy to increase our productivity across the business, we are looking to add a skilled and flexible machinist to our team, who''s roll will be to support the incumbent CNC team with all aspects of their daily tasks as required, while also supporting our Manufacturing Engineers with lean and 5s projects. Working as a hands-on machinist on either Fanuc or Mazak VMC''s Providing absence cover where required. Carrying out TPM /PPM activities Programming online at the control Proving Out. Working on lean or 5S projects. This role would suit somebody with several years'' experience of programming Fanuc VMC''s, in a wide range of materials, any turning or Mazatrol knowledge will be a bonus.Key skills (non-negotiable) To apply for this roll, you must be a UK national.
