Area Sales Manager

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful window and door business that operate nationally, who are looking to employ an ASM/ Area Sales Manager to join their team.Our client manufactures high quality Aluminium windows and doors for the trade. They are known for their excellent product range and outstanding customer service and care.The ideal candidate will come from a sales background within the Aluminium fenestration/ window and door industry. You will be taking the lead in the Essex Region.The role responsibilities:Research and identify current opportunity areas considering service, geography, value and competition.Devise strategic sales plan to capitalise on opportunities, address weaknesses and deliver growth in accordance with the long-range business plan.Work closely with Marketing to ensure alignment between sales and marketing, ensuring maximum value is being extracted from annual marketing spend.Where there are new products being released, these are to be introduced to existing Customers and used to introduce new Customers to the Business.Report on all KPI requirements with the Line ManagerEnsure documents are controlled and that the system is regularly audited.Take an active role in making business improvementsThe candidate skills and experience:Have a detailed knowledge of various Aluminium window and door products/systemsCome from a business development / trade sales background within the window and door/fenestration industryBe able to organise and manage own workloadBe forward thinking and able to identify various sales opportunities to exploreExcellent customer service skillsFull UK driving licenseBenefits:Hybrid roleCompany CarCompany phone and laptopIf you are an experienced Area Sales Manager and would like to find out more information about this role, please contact Guy at Chase Taylor Recruitment and quote reference number MM6318.
