This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor (minimum 2 years'' PQE) to play a key role in supporting the OU''s strategic and academic ambitions through high-quality legal advice and support.About the Role:As a member of the Legal Services team, you will work alongside experienced in-house lawyers to provide expert legal advice across a wide range of University activities. You will support research, teaching, and commercial operations, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks.You will be responsible for:- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of legal agreements, including those for goods and services, consultancy, research funding, academic collaborations nationally and internationally, and data sharing agreements.- Research and advise on legal, compliance and governance issues, and support the implementation of best practice.- Advise on contentious matters and disputes
