TimePlan Education are working with a friendly and well-regarded primary school in Walton-on-Thames for a committed Year 2 Teacher for a part-time position (Monday to Wednesday).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 2 class across three days per week
• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where required
• Support pupils'' personal development and wellbeing
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Strong understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment
• Good knowledge of SEND and inclusive teaching practices
• Reliable, organised, and a strong team player
