We''re recruiting for a Pig Stockperson/Farm Worker for a farm in Essex, CM6. Full or part-time hours considered. The family-owned business has 3,000 acres of arable land and two purpose-built 1,000-place finishing pig units. The indoor fattening unit has 2000 pigs in an all-in-all-out system. Pigs come in at five weeks and out at 110kg. The system is straw-based and has automatic feeders. The chosen candidate can work approximately five hours per day with the pigs or increase their hours to full-time with general farm work, including maintenance, grain carting, straw carting, and loading lorries, among other tasks.
