We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team. Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 12:00pm start, finishing around 20:30pm Pay Rate: 14.36 rising to 15.11 after 12 weeks Location: Crewe Job Type: Ongoing with opportunity for perm The role: . Delivering palletised parcel to sub-depots and collection units when not shunting . Driver will be required to unload and load the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck when doing collections and deliveries. Perform shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations. Safely maneuver vehicles in tight and busy spaces. Conduct pre and post operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow. Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team. Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements. Assist with other yard duties as needed. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). .
