About the role Our Private Client strives to provide services which are user friendly and sensitive to the individual needs of our residents, local authorities and all sections of the community. It is the responsibility of all staff to work to achieve this within our ethos of service, quality, equality, and partnership. (Partnership means demonstrating a commitment to close co-operation with colleagues and joint work in partnership with our service users). To join a team offering a comprehensive residential service for young people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour aged between 10-18 years. Our aim being to ensure the physical, social, emotional care and development of the young people. No two days are ever the same, sometimes they may be challenging but they will always be positive and rewarding. Duties and responsibilities: To join a team of residential care staff ensuring that safe and appropriate care practices are always maintained. To support the Manager in all aspects of the home s operation, whilst maintaining positive childcare practice, in keeping with the aims and objectives of the home. To provide a safe, warm, and supportive environment to our residents whilst being involved in the planning and organisation of the home. To maintain a regular recording system in connection with each young person, be involved in the implementation of care plans and assist in the publication of reports when required.
