*** SEN support on a 1:1 and small group basis
 
The Role:
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the school’s SEN team to support pupils with additional needs. You will provide one-to-one assistance, lead small intervention groups, and help adapt learning activities to meet individual requirements. Your input will play an important role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and academic progress.
 
The Candidate:
You should hold a degree in psychology or a related field and have an interest in child development and special educational needs. Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy are essential qualities for this role. Experience in a school or supporting children with SEN will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
 
Requirements

- Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children – A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs and developing a career in education or psychology.
- Experience working with children – Any relevant experience such as SEN support, mentoring, or volunteering is desirable but not essential.
