The service supports adults with acquired brain injuries in a residential setting, helping them regain lost skills and achieve meaningful recovery.You ll work alongside a committed team of rehabilitation support workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and fellow SaLTs all focused on providing expert, person-centred care.The RoleAs a Senior Specialist SaLT, your responsibilities will include: Working autonomously within the MDTAssessing and managing communication and swallowing needsSupporting individuals and their social networks to overcome barriersDeveloping communication and dysphagia management plansDelivering training to staff and familiesContributing to service and organisational development About YouYou ll need: A degree in Speech and Language TherapyHCPC registrationDysphagia competenciesSpecialist knowledge in ABI-related communication interventionsExperience managing complex dysphagia within adult neurologyAt least 4 years post-qualification experience with complex cases What s in it for you?
