You will take over from the existing head of department, managing a broad caseload of private client matters to include:Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, including complex estatesEstate administration and managing estate accountsCourt of Protection mattersYou will be managing a small, dedicated team—including a Senior Solicitor in London and a Probate Executive in their office in Sussex—with scope to expand. If you’re interested in bringing a paralegal or assistant with you, my client is open to discussion.About you

Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience handling a diverse private client caseloadStrong technical expertise across all areas of private client workExcellent client-facing and interpersonal skillsProven experience in team management and leadershipDemonstrated business development ability, with a clear ambition to build and grow a teamWhat they can offer

You can choose to be based in either their London or Sussex office with regular travel between offices. While office presence is important in this client-facing role, they are happy to consider hybrid working arrangements that support your productivity and work-life balance.They offer a competitive market-rate salary, tailored to your experience and qualifications. A quantifiable following is not essential, though it would be advantageous.
