Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive Test Strategy for the migration of application workloads and infrastructure to Azure/AVS.Lead all testing activities related to the Data Centre exit, covering infrastructure, application, network, and security testing.Oversee and hold delivery partners accountable for their network and AVS test deliverables.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure testing plans are aligned with migration goals and business continuity requirements.Manage an offshore testing team, overseeing their daily activities, deliverables, and performance.Own and mitigate programme-wide test risks and issues, escalating as necessary.Ensure network testing, application integration, performance, UAT, and OAT are all executed to high standards and aligned with business expectations.

Key Skills and Experience

Extensive experience in infrastructure and application migration projects, specifically from on-premise to Azure Cloud.Deep knowledge of Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and the impact of cloud migrations on application and network behaviour.Strong understanding of networks, VLANs, and how applications interact across network layers.Proven ability to develop testing strategies that span Network, Application, Security, Performance and DR testing.10+ years in IT roles with a focus on test management, infrastructure, or cloud migration.Minimum 5 years'' experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager on large-scale programmes.Experience managing remote or offshore test teams.Strong risk-based test management approach and ability to handle tight timelines and limited resources.

Desirable

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments (e.g., Financial Services, Insurance, etc.).
