Our well established, multi-office, independent client based in Heybridge CM9 is looking for an experienced Head of Department to join their busy Property Management and Lettings business.Responsibilities

Overseeing and managing other Property ManagersTeam meetingsMaintenance coordinationImplementing excellent relationships with all contractorsExperience in lettings accountancy/reconciliations etcDeposit handlingRent reconciliationHave the ability to demonstrate a track record of managing rental propertiesBe fully conversant with current regulation/ legislation and processes surrounding AST Property ManagementTenant referencingReferring business across departments to maximise business opportunitiesExperienced in using lettings software (We use RENTMAN OR AS NOW CALLED DOTGOMM)Handling complaints and providing solutionsMaintaining policies and procedures in accordance with company policiesEnsuring compliance and all Property management legislationSupporting the team when requiredMaking sure the PMs complete the inspections correctlyQualifications / Skills

Must have at least 2 years experience in managing a team of Property ManagersMinimum 3 years Property Management ExperienceThe candidates must have intermediate computer literacyExperience with Property Management software packages DOTGOMM, was rent manProfessional ARLA - MARLA accreditation would be seen as a strong advantage but not essentialBe able to manage their own workloadExperience in dealing with all section noticesFull valid driving licence is essentialHours and Salary

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. One Saturday a month 9:00am - 4:00pmSalary: Basic salary to be discussed and depending on experience with an OTE of £46,000 paHow to apply
