HGV Class 1 Driving Role-Newton Abbot We are currently recruiting for Temporary drivers for our depot in Newton Abbot. The role consists of store delivery work, delivering to local convenient stores involving 2-3 delivery points on each load where unloading into warehouse is required. No manual handling involved. Shift Patterns Available: AM Starts (Apply online only), 7 days a week. Predominentely Monday, Friday and Saturdays being the busiest days. Would suit a driver looking for 2-4 shifts a week. Day pay rates: Monday Friday £15.00 Weekends £17.00 45-minute break deducted per shift and minimum of 8 hours per shift worked. Immediate starts after successful completion of assessment and Induction day. What we are looking for: In date DIGI and CPC card Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual. Willing to work weekends. Motivated and open to learn new skills. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work. Your role: Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules. Prepping vehicles for delivery. Completing vehicles checks. Refuelling vehicles. The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
