Design Team Manager - Steelwork | Essex | Up to -100k + benefits | Permanent

We''re working with a specialist architectural & structural steelwork contractor delivering high-profile projects across London & the South East. They''re looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead and develop their in-house Tekla design team.

The role:

• Lead & mentor the design/draughting team, overseeing output quality
• Manage design activities on multiple projects, ensuring buildable & cost-effective solutions
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors & clients to resolve design queries
• Oversee drawing production in Tekla Structures & other CAD tools
• Attend site surveys & meetings as needed

About you:
Proven experience in a similar leadership role in architectural or structural steelwork
Proficient in Tekla Structures
Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
Confident interpreting complex drawings & leading teams
