About the Business We are recruiting for an Interim Finance Business Partner for a great charity based in Birmingham, Longbridge. This is a 6 month contract, with a possibility of going permanent. Main Duties: As an Interim Finance Business Partner, your main duties include: Become the main commercial partner to operational staff, business partnering a broad range of staff across the business, helping influence commercial decisions. Prepare monthly management accounts for the UK business unit within the required timeframe, including the necessary adjustment journals and forecasts of income and expenditure. Generate monthly or quarterly management accounts for five business units outside East Africa, based on transaction listings provided. Process income transfers from the UK directly into other SI business units. Develop financial reports for donors regarding all grants and contracts managed from the UK, and work alongside finance colleagues to produce financial reports for contracts managed outside the UK. Offer guidance to Programmes and Fundraising staff in drafting budgets for funding applications and reviewing budgets prior to submission. Strengthen and support the finance functions of international teams, ensuring their performance through regular remote communication and visits, up to approximately four weeks per year, as required.
