Senior Facilities Manager

OverviewLocation: Covent Garden, London
Salary: Competitive + discretionary bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Senior Facilities Manager will work Monday - Friday. 9:00am to 5:30pm.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Facilities Manager who brings both technical expertise and a passion for excellence in building management. If you have a strong track record in leading facilities operations, driving compliance, and delivering high standards across multiple properties — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of high-quality facilities management across our portfolio of student accommodations across London, ensuring all buildings are safe, comfortable, and maintained to a market-leading standard.
Utilise CAFM system to monitor and report PPM compliance, use the data to ensure this is a true representation of works carried out.
Manage service contracts and minor works projects, from tender through to delivery, ensuring value for money and long-term asset performance.
Collaborate with contractors and internal stakeholders, fulfilling lease obligations and acting as a trusted point of contact for all facilities-related matters.
Responsible for the cost-effective procurement of goods and parts ensuring we have what we need to deliver in line with SLAs and budgets.
Explore and introduce new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Produce regular reporting on Maintenance Team output and analyse trends to enhance performance.
Drive continuous improvement across health and safety standards, documentation, and statutory compliance.
Partner with Health and Safety teams to ensure legislative and policy changes are fully understood and implemented effectively.
Qualifications / Skills and Experience
Proven experience in senior facilities or estates management roles
Strong knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and service contracts
Confident with CAFM systems and data-led decision making
Clear understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
