Operations Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

We are supporting a leading organisation in their search for a skilled Operations Coordinator to join their busy team based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with logistics teams and the warehouse to ensure client requirements are accurately fulfilled and on time.
• Ensure all invoicing is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate timely and accurate information to clients regarding materials, shipments, and delivery status.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimise service delivery and support margin improvement.

• Ability to effectively multitask and manage competing priorities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to produce and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• A proactive mindset with a drive to improve service quality and performance.
• Ability to analyse operational performance and contribute to process improvement.
• An existing network of suppliers and logistics contacts is beneficial.
• Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
