IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to work as part of a team and is responsible for providing a high quality pest control service including sewer drainage and rodent control, to be carried out in accordance with procedures and guidance on specifications, quality standards and legislative requirements for our client in Manchester, M12. Duties To undertake surveys, identifying and carrying out treatments/ monitoring/ proofing works against pests and vermin that are of public health significance. Carry out periodic surveys and inspections of buildings and land for the detection, recovery and safe disposal of discarded hypodermic needles, syringes and other sharps. To undertake work as required for the programme baiting of highway sewers and drainage inspection chambers. To efficiently organise and manage own workload including route planning in order to meet business needs. Assist with the disinfestation of persons and land, premises, vehicles etc as required. Skills Expertise in all aspects of pest control, including rodent control in sewer and drainage systems and basic knowledge of building construction in relation to pest control. Royal Society for the Promotion of Health Level 2 Certificate or equivalent in Pest Control. Possess a full, current driving licence.
