We are working with a lovely restaurant based in Central London which is newly opened and looking for a Sous Chef to join the team. The menu will be British Small plates / Large Plates tapas style service so a knowledge of Modern British Cuisine plus Fine Dining experience would be beneficial.
This kitchen has a live Garden / Farm on site so you have access to the freshest ingredients to cook with and a lovely working environment.
This Sous Chef role will mean flexibility is required, the shift pattern will be mostly 4 single shifts and 1 double shift. Hours will be 7am to 3,30pm or 1pm to 10pm or a double. Latest finish will be around 10pm, Currently closed on Sunday but this will change in the future. You will get 2 days off per week.
You will be working in a team of 8/9 in the kitchen and the Sous Chef will be producing all food from fresh. The restaurant caters for between 100 - 130 covers per service so experience in a busy restaurant will be required. There is also hospitality service on site so buffets, working lunches, Events as well so corporate experience woudl be beneficial as well.
