This is a strategic role focused on growing multi-disciplinary engineering project opportunities across the water, utilities, and wider infrastructure sectors.The successful candidate will have a strong technical appreciation of MEICA systems and a proven track record in developing business, securing high-value contracts, and managing complex client relationships.Day to day of the Engineering Business Development Manager:Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across MEICA and specialist engineering project portfolios.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients, frameworks, and project leads.Lead the bid, proposal, and tender process from initial enquiry through to contract negotiation.Present tailored technical and commercial proposals to both engineering and nontechnical stakeholders.Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring service excellence and supporting repeat business.Collaborate with crossfunctional internal teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client and project requirements.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to shape business development strategy.
