Barnsley secondary schools are looking to hire cover supervisor starting ASAP.

Do you have experience teaching secondary school age students? Have you previously worked as a cover supervisor?

MCE are currently looking for a resilient individual who have a passion for teaching and are wanting to develop their experience and build a career in education. Successful applicants will be supporting the continuation of education for students'' across Year 7 to 11 in the absence of their class teacher.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar setting teaching or leading groups of other individuals, as well as the ability to lift from pre-planned and pre-set work provided by the class teacher or the subject''s department.

This is a fantastic opportunities for aspiring teachers to gain experience-and build on their classroom presence. The schools are able to provide training to their staff, including supporting cover supervisors and unqualified teachers.

Must have:

• Experience in a similar role and environment
• Ability to adapt to various environments
• A DBS on the Update Service - or willing to obtain one
• Commitment to safeguarding children and young people
• confident with a good sense of humour
