A loyal client to Sphere are looking to appoint a Document Controller with immediate effect. Your new company are an established regional Main Contractor, operating within Commercial New Build, Refurbishment / Fit Out / Cut and Carve, Cladding / Facade, and Residential. Project values are typically up to 30M. My client are looking for a candidate capable of Assisting the current Senior Document Controller, by administrating the Document Control process of 2-3 projects, whilst also operating out of the Bristol Office. Duties: Carry out routine document control activities on various projects, including QA checks, RFIs, workflows management and transmittals to contractors. Ensure designers and contractors are publishing documents in accordance with the protocols and QA rejected files are revised and resubmitted in a timely manner. Ensure all project documentation is processed, transmitted and/or filed within the EDMS and always up to date. Assist both internal and external members of the project with EDMS, reporting, processes and other queries. Prepare weekly Asite Status Report and distribute to the project team, Head of Document Control and Design Manager. Run reports to show overdue actions and outstanding tasks as part of the weekly reporting process and distribute to the relevant parties for action.
