This is an exciting opportunity to help children develop resilience, emotional literacy, and positive relationships while building a strong foundation for learning.What You''ll Be DoingAs a Pastoral Support Worker, you will:Provide 1:1 and small-group emotional support for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.Help pupils manage behaviour and emotions, using trauma-informed, restorative, and nurturing strategies.Develop trust and strong relationships with children, becoming a consistent and positive adult in their school lives.Support attendance, engagement, and inclusion, helping pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and the SENDCo to implement behaviour plans, individual strategies, and pastoral interventions.Promote wellbeing and safeguarding, acting as a point of contact for pupils'' emotional needs and concerns.What We''re Looking ForWe are seeking individuals who are:Compassionate, patient, and resilientSkilled at building strong, trusting relationships with childrenExperienced supporting pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needsAble to remain calm under pressure
