Early Years Practitioner – to start September 2025
We are currently recruiting an Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly Nursery team providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, from 6 months to 4 years of age.VacancySalary: to be discussed at interviewHours: Full time or Part time, working Monday to FridayShift patterns: between the hours of 7.30am – 6.00pmQualification: Level 2 or 3 in childcareBenefitsHolidays: 5.6 weeks paid holiday (inclusive of the usual statutory holidaysPension: Nest Pension SchemeA knowledge of the independent school sector would be an advantage but is not essential.Day-to-day tasks include working in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to promote the well-being of the children, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, and assisting with creative displays within the Nursery.You will have experience of working within a similar setting and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment. You will have a childcare qualification, ideally NVQ 2 or 3 qualified and know the EYFS curriculum. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.Early Years Apprentice – to start September 2025
We are currently recruiting an Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly Nursery team providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, from 6 months to 4 years of age.VacancySalary: to be discussed at interviewHours of Work: 30 hours, Full time flexible shifts Monday to Friday, 50 weeks a year, with additional hours availableShift Patterns: 7.30am - 4.30pm. 8.30am – 5.30pm or 9am – 6pmContract: Fixed term for 18 months for completion of apprenticeshipBenefitsAnnual Leave: 5.6 weeks paid holiday inclusive of the usual statutory holidays to be taken in agreement with the Head of NurseryPension: Nest Pension SchemeSalary: This role attracts a competitive apprentice salaryDay-to-day tasks include working in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to promote the well-being of the children, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, and assisting with creative displays within the Nursery.You will have experience of working young children and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment.
