Security Team Leader Job Overview Job title: Security Team Leader (Fixed Term Contract) Department: Contingency Operations Reporting to: Regional Security Manager Location: East Sussex Contract type: Fixed Term Contract 12 months Hours of work: 48 hours p/w (mix days, nights and Public holidays) Salary: 44,000.00 per annum plus 5,000 out of hours allowance Purpose of the role To support the Regional Security Manager in delivering effective security operations across asylum accommodation sites. The Security Team Leader will oversee site-based security officers, ensuring the safety and welfare of service users, staff, and assets. The role includes supervising daily security activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining compliance with statutory obligations and AASC Schedule 2 requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Procedures Supervise and coordinate the daily duties of site-based Security Officers. Ensure security coverage across all designated properties and respond to incidents as required. Support the completion of incident reports and High Priority Notifications (HPNs) in a timely and accurate manner. Conduct routine inspections and audits of security systems and procedures. Assist in the implementation of safeguarding measures for vulnerable service users. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Home Office and company standards.
