A well-established and growing manufacturing business is currently seeking a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson to join their skilled design team. The Role
You will be responsible for producing accurate design drawings and supporting production processes, working across a variety of projects within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing 2D & 3D designs for both standard and bespoke products
• Processing orders using AutoCAD and Excel
• Generating CNC programs for laser and router cutting (sheet metal)
• Supporting production teams with technical queries and problem-solving
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail across all design work

Working Hours
Monday Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am 3:45pm

What we''re looking for

• Minimum 3 years'' experience in a design/CAD role
• Strong experience using AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• Ability to interpret manufacturing or construction drawings
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience with CNC programming software (e.g. RADAN)
• Experience in sheet metal design/development
