The scheme is focused on building a brand-new link road connecting the A12 directly into the SZC site. With construction traffic currently pushing through local villages and causing real disruption, this new road will take the pressure off the community and create a dedicated route for plant, HGVs and workforce movements.The team now needs an experienced Senior QS with a genuine Tier 1 background to help drive the commercial delivery of this package. You ll split your time between home and site (Rendlesham) typically 3 days on site, 2 days from home.Day-to-day responsibilities: • Managing procurement processes and bringing new subcontractors onboard • Full contract administration under NEC • Supporting change management, compensation events and variations • Assisting with CVRs on a monthly cycle and general cost reporting • Working closely with delivery teams to keep the commercial function tight and issues under control • Ensuring subcontractor accounts, payments and documentation are managed correctlyWhat you ll need: • A solid Tier 1 contractor background highways, civils or major infrastructure • Strong NEC expe
