This is a great role for a passionate Food Technology Teacher who enjoys inspiring students and delivering engaging, practical lessons.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop essential cooking skills, knowledge of nutrition, and a love for food. The school is looking for a confident and creative Food Technology Teacher who can bring energy into the classroom and support students of all abilities.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Food Technology Teacher
• Teach students about food preparation, nutrition, and health
• Ensure a safe and organised kitchen/classroom environment
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly
• Support students of different abilities and learning needs
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Work collaboratively with other staff as a Food Technology Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working as a Food Technology Teacher in a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
• Good classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• A positive and professional attitude
