This includes covering classes during teacher absence, delivering planned lessons, and providing targeted support to individuals or small groups. You will help to create an engaging learning environment, encourage pupil progress, and foster a positive attitude to learning.Responsibilities as an HLTA: Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the teacher s absence.Support pupils in their learning through small group and one-to-one interventions.Assist in planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities.Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning experience.Support the teacher in tracking pupil progress and providing feedback.Work closely with teaching staff to adapt resources and strategies for pupil needs.
