I am seeking an experienced Tool Maker to join my renowned production engineering client based just north of Heathrow Airport, West London.The Tool Maker is responsible for the design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of precision tools, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing and assembly of aerospace componentsRole: Tool Maker Location: Hayes, Middlesex Shift: Monday - Friday. No sponsorships can be provided now, or in the future Main responsibilities:Operate both manual and CNC machine tools, including milling machines, lathes, grinders and hand tools.Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.Responsible for the manufacture, service and repair of tools, assembly jigs and fixtures during the development of new products and support of existing products.Manufacture of tools against drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.To give advice on tooling design and manufacture for tools used in Assembly, Machining, Plating and NDT operations.Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and other team members to develop and improve tooling solutions.Maintenance and repair of existing production tools.Liaise with Engineering and Production personnel, to help the Engineering design team on tool design and assist in reviewing/ checking processes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool performance a
