Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the operation of a butt weld fittings manufacturing facility. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of legacy and modern machinery used in forming, machining, and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience working with older mechanical and electromechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic faults in machinery Respond quickly to breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions Refurbish, retrofit, and modify aging equipment to improve performance and safety Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and spare parts inventory Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Assist in installation and commissioning of replacement or upgraded machinery Key Equipment Hydraulic presses and forming machines Pipe cutting, beveling, and shaping machines Heat treatment furnaces Conventional lathes and milling machines Welding and finishing equipment Shotblast equipment Required Skills and Experience Proven experience maintaining older/legacy industrial machinery Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Basic to intermedi
