Interim Financial Reporting Lead

on an 18-month fixed-term contract. The organisation operates primarily on a remote basis, with occasional travel to central London required for key meetings.Key responsibilities include:Producing the organisation’s statutory accounts and contributing to year-end reportingLeading the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial updates for senior stakeholdersManaging treasury activity including cash flow and bank reconciliationsOverseeing VAT and tax reporting, as well as purchase order proceduresSupporting contract performance reporting, including testing supplier submissions and fielding finance-related queriesPreparing reports for internal governance committees and external audit bodiesActing as finance lead on internal and external audit processesDeputising for senior finance colleagues when requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to play a central role in shaping financial stewardship in a regulatory context.
